Osmocote® Plus Organics Potting & Planting
Mix
This mix was specially developed by horticultural experts for
outdoor and potted plants as a superior alternative to other
regular potting mix and planting soils.
The blend of organic composted material is designed to improve
soil structure and encourage strong root systems. It is enriched
with:
- Osmocote® controlled release fertiliser that
feeds plants for up to 6 months.
- Gypsum - a natural clay breaker.
- Composted manure, blood and bone, seaweed, fish and molasses
that stimulate micro-organisms and earthworm activity. Active
micro-organisms reduce the incidence of soil-borne disease and
assist in nutrient uptake by plants.
- Professional grade wetting agent that ensures uniform wetting
and rewetting of mix.
Potting & Planting Mix nurtures plant growth both above and
below the ground. By creating a balanced and sustainable growing
environment, plants are healthier, stronger and less susceptible to
insect attacks and diseases, season after season.
Potting & Planting Mix gives your plants everything they
need to sustain long lasting health.
To improve soil in garden beds, add a 10-15cm layer of Potting
& Planting Mix and thoroughly mix into the top 20 to 30cm of
soil. For raised beds, add an additional 10cm layer and work
through the soil - this should increase the bed 15 to 20cm above
the surrounding soil level.
