Systemic action
Spray Roundup
Roundup is sprayed onto the plant's green leaves.
|
Weed absorbs & circulates
The plant's sap system carries Roundup to the growing points of the roots and shoots.
|
Weed dies
Roundup kills plants from the 'inside-out' therefore the effects can appear to be slow but will be very thorough.
|
What to expect
Typically, the youngest leaves or shoots turn yellow about one week after treatment, then the rest of the plant turns yellow or brown and dies.
The time taken for the symptoms to develop will be dependent on several factors, such as the type of weed being treated, the time of year and speed of growth.
Grasses will always show effects before other plants.
