Osmocote® Plus Organics Vegetable, Tomato & Herb is suitable for all vegetables, herbs and tomato plants. Is high in Calcium to prevent blossom end rot in tomatoes and capsicums, and has added Phosphorus to promote vigorous growth.

Osmocote® Plus Organics Vegetable, Tomato & Herb is safe to use on new plants and guaranteed not to burn.

When to use

An application of Osmocote® Plus Organics Vegetable, Tomato & Herb lasts for 6 months. It is best applied at the beginning of spring and can be applied again in autumn.

How Osmocote® Plus Organics works

This plant food and soil improver nurtures plant growth both above and below the ground - it feeds both the soil and the plant.

  • Original Osmocote® controlled release fertililser granules release nutrients when plants need them most for up to 6 months.

  • Added organic matter such as composted manure, blood and bone, seaweed and fish organically enrich the soil and encourage beneficial microbial and earthworm activity.

  • Natural gypsum is a clay breaker that improves the soil and adds calcium.

  • The addition of an excellent wetting agent enhances water absorption into the soil and helps plants take up more nutrients.

    • As a result, plants are healthier and less susceptible to insect attacks and disease

  • a range of essential trace elements

How to use

Using the rate recommended on the container, for best results, mix through the planting soil if planting or sprinkle over the soil surface for existing plants and gardens.

Always water after application and avoid contact of the product with foliage and plant stems and trunks.

How to I protect my vegetables from pests?

Use low toxicity Defender™ Pyrethrum Insect Spray, which has only a one-day withholding period.
