Osmocote® PLUS Native Gardens is suitable for plants in the Proteaceae family and other phosphorus-sensitive plants including

Use Osmocote® TOTAL to fertilise popular Australian native plants that are not phosphorous-sensitive, such as Eucalypts (gums), Callistemon and Melaleuca.

When to use

The best time to apply Osmocote® PLUS Native Gardens is in spring and late summer.

Osmocote® PLUS Native Gardens is a complete nutrition package with a NPK of 17:1.6:8.7 and contains additional nutrients including . 

  • 3.7% sulphur
  • added trace elements and minerals that are specifically suited to this plant group

How Osmocote® PLUS Native Gardens works

This controlled release fertiliser contains all the nutrients needed for healthy plant growth. The nutrients are released according to temperature – more when it’s warm , when plants are growing well, less when it’s cold.

How to use

Using the rate recommended on the container, sprinkle the Osmocote® Azaleas, Camellias & Rhododendrons around the dripline.

Add also to potting mix and to soil at planting time.
