  • to your climate
  • to the amount of sun in your garden
  • to the amount of time you have to spend in the garden

Mulch all gardens and pots. Mulch is a must.

Take advantage of products that reduce the time and effort to feed your plants, and control weeds and bugs.

Spend less time fertilising the garden.

  • Use controlled release fertiliser that only needs to be applied twice a year.
  • Use a hose-on attachment to fertilise while you water.
  • Use a good garden soil to amend and replenish your existing garden soil.

Spend less time watering and fertilising the lawn.

  • Use a slow release lawn fertiliser that lasts for months.
  • Use a spreader that gives an even and accurate application.
  • Use good topsoil to rejuvenate the lawn, filling in holes and leveling out the surface so mowing is easy once again.

Lawn Builder™ need only be applied in early spring, early summer and autumn.

Lawn Builder™ with Wetting Agent helps water to penetrate and reduces the amount of watering needed.

Scotts® EvenGreen Spreader has an easy, push-along design and drops the fertiliser evenly, exactly where you want it to go.

Lawn Builder™ Topdress Mix is an all in one quality mix consisting of rich, organic, composted material fortified with Lawn Builder fertilizer, Hydraflo2 wetting agent and iron.

Spend less time watering the garden.

  • Apply mulch.
  • Use a wetting agent.
  • Use a tap timer or automatic watering system.
  • Use high quality potting mix for potted plants.

Scotts® Hydraflo2® is a long-lasting wetting agent. Its soil wetting properties can last up to a year.

Scotts® Osmocote® Premium Potting Mix has enough fertiliser to last 4 months and needs to be watered much less often than ordinary mixes.

Spend less time weeding.

  • Mulch bare ground where weeds prefer to grow.
  • Use a herbicide on paths, between pavers, on gravel areas, fence lines, to edge garden beds, to target specific weeds in garden beds.
