Do you know how Osmocote works?
I found that most of the products didn't give me the results I expected and these products were also high maintenance, that is, requiring a lot of watering in in order to sustain the results only for a short period of time.
I found that I had to keep going through the whole process of buying more fertiliser and using a lot of water just to get the fertililser into the ground.
I found that no matter how much I watered the lawn, I would be waiting up to a week for the results and found that the other brand fertilisers would be patchy and uneven.
Mowing would traumatize the lawn and it would take almost 2 weeks to get my lawn looking green and healthy and then the lawn would require mowing again. It was very frustrating.
With water restrictions in Perth, I found that over a short period of time the colour of my lawn went from green to a really unhealthy yellow colour. For the best part of 12 months I tried all sorts of different products and wetting agents without success and was becoming very despondent.
Finally the right product
Then I saw an advertisement for Scotts Lawn Builder on Foxtel.
At my wits end, I decided to give my lawn one more go before snapping my undies.
I went into Bunnings here in Perth and bought a new Scotts fertiliser spreader and also the Lawn Builder fertiliser. The product said "Feed and forget it, no need to water in".
As it was my sprinkler day, I decided to water it in with my sprinkler to simulate the rain fall. I was gobsmacked at the results.
I have never in my life seen such amazing results. Within 2 days I could see my yellow lawn turning green like watching a photo develop.
During the first week of using Scotts Lawn Builder I was really lucky to have 24 hours of rain and saw a really massive change. My lawn out the back and front went really dark leafy green - the greenest I have ever had my lawn.
I watched over the next few days as my grass become thicker and softer and very more green.
In the back garden I have Wintergreen couch grass and out the front I have Sir Walter Buffalo. I am still gobsmacked about the results.
I'm so impressed with the amount of water I don't need to use, and my grass is happy and healthy. I've just had the grass cut out the back for the second time since I originally fertilised the grass - it is so soft to walk on. I have two mischievous pugs and they love playing on the lawn, so does my family.
Using Scotts Lawn Builder, I now enjoy spending more time admiring my lawn and looking at my garden.

I also would like to mention that I have always used Osmocote on my plants.
When I moved into my new home 2 years ago, I knew that Osomote would help my plants get established and I now have the most advanced garden in my street.
I live in a new residential estate where all the houses are new and were built at the same time. I have enclosed some photos of my garden front and back to show you the results of using Osomocote and Scotts Lawn builder.
My garden plants and pot plants look so healthy and have grown so much in the last 12 months you would think the house has been here for several years.
I often am asked what I feed my plants and Lawn and I'm excited to tell friends about my experience with Scotts Lawn Builder and Osmocote plant food.
I know I can rely on Osmocote for feeding my plants the right amounts and the good thing is my family and I can enjoy spending more time together and of course enjoying a lovely garden.
